Liquid & Solid
Aidan Shrowder
It's queer how liquid can change,
Within a glass; qualities estrange
It takes the form of the cup
Changes to fit, will mix-up
It's pure form, is no concern
It's old self only ignorant and unlearned
The solid, not is this
It knows not the untrue kiss
Such is the diamond, shifting for none
And for this it shines like the sun.
It is the most precious of all
Thus, it shall never fall.
To integrity, but one holds the key
So chose wisely which you should be.
