I Miss You my Friend
Aidan Shrowder
I miss you my friend,
The way you did care
Your kind or needed words
But not, to much to bare
Your laugh, your smile
Your eyes, your voice,
Your listening ear
When I was to make a choice
I became your mimic,
Each trait of yours I desired
My knight in shining armor
But now I've just become so tired
Tired of you not watching,
Of seeing your waning eye,
Of your so many other loves.
Would you CARE if I were to die!
But only if I knew the truth
So bad, I doubt it would be.
Whether it were disregard,
Or if you were hiding that you loved me.
But if you're to have a change of heart
Then I pray it be around the bend.
For if not, we must draw apart
Even though; I miss you my friend.
